From the many postings and thoughts that have been sent it is a testament to the influence and presence that Tony had for karate and teaching. We knew him for 47 years and started our own karate journey and friendship back in the Secular Hall days, training alongside him and then being taught by him. Throughout these years Tony was so modest, unassuming and true to the spirit of karate, we were so pleased when he decided to take his love of the art and fulfil his path in life. His light has reached and enriched the lives of all his students and is an achievement and legacy that will endure. Tony was fierce in combat but gentle in nature a true and generous loyal friend, courageous to the end. We bid our dear friend farewell and keep you close in our hearts. Robert and Elizabeth
