Words can't express what high esteem both Logan and I held Sensai Tony in. A brilliant teacher, with patience, passion, a touch of humour but above all, always welcoming. He inspired us to do our best and always made everyone smile. An honour and privilege to have him as our Sensai. He will be greatly missed by all. Deepak and Logan Pala
“Soar with the Eagles’ Tony. We’ve been friends since our schooldays. You became my Sensei when I joined your Karate classes. We met our wives, Lynne and Helena at our 1st Karate Disco. We raised our children together. We’ve never had a cross word in our whole lives. We managed to visit each other’s houses despite the 2000 miles between us. In losing you we have lost a very dear and true friend. You were in a league of your own! RIP. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lynne, Simon, Mark, Hayley, Ashleigh, Lee and family.
What a great, inspirational man Sensei was. You knew you'd excelled in karate when his praise stopped and you were told "could be better", accompanied by a wry smile. We will forever be grateful to have known such an amazing role model.
Dear sensei Toney, I will miss you enormously. What a great loss. What a great person. Thank you for your inspiration and believing in me. I am so grateful and honoured to have known you for many years. In loving memory, "Ciao" - farewell Nadia x. Nadia Jolob x. Your memories will stay on
Sensei Conroy inspired our karate and gave us invaluable advice, we were proud to have him as Chief Instructor to our dojo and will continue to be inspired by his teachings that we were lucky enough to have. Our thoughts go to Lynne and the family, we have many great memories of the time both Lynne and Tony gave up to be with us and support Conroy Karate - Cardiff dojo.
